Index Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre in Collaboration with Mayank Welfare Society is dedicated to Excellence in Medical Education research and Patient care. Woven throughout all these pursuits is a strong commitment towards public service and a collaborative work ethics of providing care for our diverse population. In the year 1996 the visionary promoters of this Institute committed to advancement of Medical Education Health Care and Research set upon this great journey towards greater level of excellence in all these fields. The Campus is situated at Gram Morodhat, Near Khudel Villege, Nemawar Road Indore.

The Campus is situated on 30 acres of land with four lush green garden and is soon going to be connected with four lanes and sufficient numbers of sub-lanes. The building is built such that there is abundant fresh air and spacious complex designed to meet all future expansions and requirements. The serene and healthy environment comprises of the college building including lecture galleries block, separate hostel building for Boys & Girls, Multi Gym & dedicated diet centre for Hostel inmates.

Skills Lab :

A well equipped and spacious Skills Lab is available at Index Medical College (As per new guidelines of MCI, New Delhi) , which includes various types of manikins for training of essential procedures like Basic life support, Endotracheal intubation, Delivery, Neonatal care, Suturing, Intravenous access, Intramuscular injection etc.

BSL-2 Level Laboratory :

As per the requirements of the current pandemic of Covid-19, there has been development of BSL-2 Level Laboratory testing facility of infectious pathogens in the Dept. of Microbiology at Index Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Indore

Lecture Hall :

5 Lecture Theatres are available with seating capacity of 300 students each with sound amplification & electronically equipped with modern teaching audio visual aids.

Examination Hall :

There are three examination halls in the Medical College with each having 250 sitting capacity. The examination halls are well spacious with air condition & CCTV camera.

Laboratory & Museum :

Spacious dissection hall with adequate number of cadavers and group discussions are the features worth mentioning. Mounted Museum with rate collection specimens fortify the teaching of Anatomy. The laboratories Re adequately furnished with modem equipments and instrument. Practical demonstration to small group by teachers and individual students are facilitated with charts, models and case reports. Periodical evaluation of student performance both in theory & practical are made. Video scopes for visualizing real time surgical are available for Students.

College has a well equipped dissection hall with video camera based LCD projectors to facilitate projections and practical training.

Central Library :

A Wi- Fi Enabled campus. Large collection of text and reference books, Indian and foreign journals in every branch of medicine are at the disposal of the students and staff along with newspaper and magazine. This place inculcates the habit of regular reading and references making even in an unobtrusive reader video CD and other modem aids add to the techniques of dissemination of medicine. Computers with internet facility link one and all to a host of international institution, events, developments in various branches of medicines and informatics as and when generates elsewhere in the world thus keeping abreast all technological advances for the well benefit Medicine.

Hostel & Residential Quarters :

Residential hostels are available for undergraduate and postgraduate students, interns, boys and girls separately. Residential areas are available for Teaching & Non Teaching staff.

Auditorium, College Council Hall & Seminar Hall :

The auditorium of IMCHRC is having 2000 sitting capacity. The auditorium is air conditioned with all the ultra modern audio visual and transmission facilities. The regular interfaces, conferences and other cultural and academic events are held in the auditorium, whereas for smaller scale events, the Seminar Halls are used, which are located in different parts of the college & hospital, equipped with advanced presentation tools.

Sports, Gymnasium & Recreation Facilities:

Overall personality development of students and encouragement of staff through extracurricular activities and recreation. Sports like cricket, football, hockey, badminton, volley ball, basket ball, table tennis, carom, chess, and gymnasium are available and encouraged. Continuing education programmes and conferences of all cadres being conducted in all segments of education.

Mess Facilities :

There are more than 4 Mess for the UG / PG students, Interns, teaching, residents & other non teaching staff. The students are provided Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks & dinner. The food provided is very hygienic and healthy. Regular cleaning of the mess and canteens are managed by the maintenance staff. The quality of the food is managed by the dieticians. The food for patients is also supplied by the mess and diet chart is planned by the dieticians.
