SNA Election was conducted on 14th Oct 2017 at Index Institute of Nursing Sciences. Election was performed by Mrs. Aline Upadhyay SNA Advisor (HOD Pediatric Nursing), and Mr. Jitendra Chicholkar SNA Co- Advisor (Assistant Professor) under the guidance of Prof. Mrs Achamma Varghese, Principal/ SNA President Index Institute of Nursing Sciences.

Election Concluded with the results as:
SNA Vice- President:- Mr Sumeet Choudhary B Sc Nursing 3rd year student.
SNA Secretary:-         Mr Manish Sharma, B Sc Nursing 3rd year student.
SNA Treasurer:-         Miss Jyoti Meghwal, B Sc Nursing 2nd year student.

Antiragging:- Mrs. Tamphasana L. Devi, Vice – Principal/ HOD Psychiatric Nursing of Index Institute Nursing College provided information regarding Antiragging Introduction, Rules and Regulation also how to prevent ragging and has shown video of Antiragging to all Nursing students. Then after skit on antiragging was performed by B.Sc Nursing Students.

Diwali Celebration was celebrated on 14th Oct 2017 at Index Institute of Nursing Sciences. Programme was organized by Mrs. Aline Upadhyay SNA Advisor /HOD Pediatric Nursing, and Mr. Jitendra Chicholkar SNA Co- Advisor/Assistant Professor. Under SNA Unit.

Sardar Vallab bhai Patel Oath taking ceremony was taken by all nursing students and Faternities on 31st Oct’ 2017, at Index Institute of Nursing Sciences, Under Malwanchal University

Childrens Day was celebrated on 14th Nov 2017 at Index Institute of Nursing Sciences. Programme was organized by Mrs. Aline Upadhyay SNA Advisor /HOD Pediatric Nursing, and Mr. Jitendra Chicholkar SNA Co- Advisor/Assistant Professor. Under SNA Unit.

Christmas Celebration was done on 19th Dec 2017 at Index Institute of Nursing Sciences. Programme was organized by Mr. Josemon Sunny Lecturer and Ms. Nisha Narve Tutor. Under SNA Unit.

SEMINAR On Breast feeding Week celebration was conducted on 22nd Aug 2017. With the theme on "SUSTAINING BREAST FEEDING TOGETHER". Guest speaker was Dr. Shivani Lodha Consultant Nutritionist and lactation counselor also Dr. Swati Prashant HOD Pediatric Department at Index Institute of Nursing Sciences.

WORK SHOP was conducted on theme: "BORN TOO SOON:INTACT SURVIVAL OF THE PRE TERM" on 24th Nov 2017 under Malwanchal University the guest were Mr. Suresh Singh Bhadoria Chairman, Index group of Institutions and Mr. N.K. Tripati Vice Chancellor Malwanchal University. Programme was organized by Pediatric Nursing Department under the guidance of Prof. Mrs. Achamma Varghese Principal Index Institute of nursing Sciences.

Different Guest speaker presented their lecturer on the topics based on theme of workshop. The guest speakers were Dr. V.P Goswami Asst Prof. PSM Department, Dr Prof. Zafar Khan Neonatologist RD Gardi Medical College Ujjain, Prof. Mrs. Shreeja Vijayan HOD Pediatric Nursing Department. Choithram College of Nursing, and Mrs. Aline Upadhyay HOD of Pediatric Nursing Department.

Different Work stations were held at Index Medical College Hospital and Research centre at Pediatric Unit, by our PG of Medical and Nursing Pediatric Department Students

Participants were from different nursing colleges of Indore, Faculties, Students, Hospital Staff from other colleges.

MSc Nursing students, B.Sc. Nursing, PBBSc Nursing, GNM And ANM students of Index Institute of nursing Sciences participated.
