Orientation Day at Index Medical College, Hospital, and Research Centre

Index Medical College, Hospital, and Research Centre recently hosted a three-day Orientation Day program for its Postgraduate (PG) students. The event was meticulously organized to familiarize new students with the institution's academic environment, policies, and opportunities. This initiative aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the college’s offerings and ensure that students are well-prepared for the challenges of advanced medical education. The program focused on imparting essential knowledge about academic expectations, discipline, and the resources available for their professional growth throughout their tenure at the institution.
Dr. G.S. Patel, Dean of Index Medical College delivered an insightful presentation, detailing the structure and operations of Malwanchal University and Index Medical College. He emphasized the importance of adhering to academic and clinical guidelines and introduced students to the key policies and regulations that govern both the university and the college. Dr. Patel's address provided a clear framework for the PG students, outlining their academic responsibilities and the various avenues available for their personal and professional development. This session was designed to ensure that students are equipped with the necessary tools for success in their (PG) studies and beyond.
The event was attended by several distinguished dignitaries, including Dr. Sanjeev Narang, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ram Gulam Razdan, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Swati Prashant, Medical Superintendent and Dr. B.K. Agarwal, PG Director along with the heads of various departments.
