Celebration of cancer awareness program on the occasion of "World Cancer Day" under the WHO theme "CLOSE THE CARE GAP" on Saturday

Malwanchal University index group of institutions celebrated World Cancer Day on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 and organised various educational programs. Index Institute of Dental Sciences, Indore which is a constituent of Malwanchal University, organised various motivational and educational programs on 4th February, 2023. The day, that is observed as "World Cancer Day" world wide. World Cancer Day will be celebrated throughout the week by the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Index Institute of Dental Sciences, Indore.
Under this week long campaign and educational program, a series of street play, free dental check up camps, delivery of health talks related to oral cancer, pamphlets related to tobacco cessation and causes of oral cancer will also be distributed in near by villages, workers of university, employees of Index group and amongst the bus drivers of Index group.
Under this noble initiative, villagers of nearby villages were made aware of silent encroachment of oral cancer. An oath was sworned in by the employees of Malwanchal University and workers of Index group to prohibit tobacco use and quit tobacco. On this occasion, street play named 'कैंसर की कहानी, मुकेश की ज़ुबानी' was organised at the premises of Malwanchal University. Besides this students made aware everybody about the ill effects of cancer. In this play, a broken and helpless family due to addiction of tabacco is displayed. A meaning full message is conveyed through this street play, motivating to take pledge against use of any cancer causing addiction. This social initiative was praised by Chairman of Index group Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria, vice chairman Shri Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria, director R.S. Ranavat and addl. director Mr. R.C. Yadav.
On this occasion, a pledge related to anti-addiction of cancer causing agents was taken at the premises of Malwanchal University. Vice Chancellor of Malwanchal University Shri N.K. Tripathi, registrar Dr. M. Christopher, dean Dr. G.S. Patel, dean Dr. Satish Karandikar, Principal Dr. Reshma Khurana, principal Dr. Javed Khan Pathan, HOD of Department of Public health dentistry Dr. Ranjan Mani Tripathi, reader Dr. Anshuman Swami, event co-ordinator Dr. Poonam Tomar Rana and Dr. Rajendra Singh gave prizes to the students who participated in the street play.

सेमिनार में शिक्षा और कौशल विषय पर सेमिनार में छात्रों लिए युवा नीति पर सुझाव
हमारा भारत सही मायने में आगे बढ़ रहा है, भारत के सामने आज कई चुनौतियाँ हैं बावजूद इसके केंद्र सरकार की नीतियां और कार्यक्रम इन सभी चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए पूरी तरह से सक्षम है। आज के युवा में ऊर्जा के साथ शिक्षा और कौशल के कारण कुछ कर गुजरने की भावना भी है। हमें आज ऐसे भारत का निर्माण करने की आवश्यकता है जहां युवाओं को अपना हुनर दिखाने के तमाम अवसर उपलब्ध कराने होंगे।यह बात मालवांचल यूनिवर्सिटी के डिपार्टमेंट आफ फिजियोथैरेपी और पैरामेडिकल की प्राचार्या डॅा.रेशमा खुराना ने कहीं। मध्यप्रदेश शासन उच्च शिक्षा विभाग के निर्देशानुसार मालवांचल यूनिवर्सिटी इंडेक्स समूह संस्थान में मध्य प्रदेश युवा नीति के अंतर्गत युवा बनाए अपनी युवा नीति के प्रचार प्रसार के लिए सेमिनार आयोजन किया गया। इसमें मालवांचल यूनिवर्सिटी के विभिन्न संस्थानों के विद्यार्थियों के साथ राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना के सदस्यों ने हिस्सा लिया। रैली के माध्यम से युवाओं ने जन जागरूकता का संदेश दिया। मध्यप्रदेश युवा नीति कार्यक्रम की इंडेक्स समूह चेयरमैन सुरेशसिंह भदौरिया, वाइस चेयरमैन मयंकराज सिंह भदौरिया, डायरेक्टर आर एस राणावत,एडिशनल डायरेक्टर आर सी यादव ने सराहना की। मालवांचल यूनिवर्सिटी के कुलपति एन के त्रिपाठी,रजिस्ट्रार डॅा.एम क्रिस्टोफर ने युवाओं के लिए इस तरह के मप्र युवा नीति जैसे कार्यक्रम के जरिए नए प्रयास की सराहना की।
युवा बनाए अपनी युवा नीति
डॅा.रेशमा खुराना ने कहा कि शिक्षा के साथ आपके पास बेहतर कौशल होना भी जरूरी है।मप्र की राज्य युवा नीति के साथ 21वीं सदी का आज का भारत, अपने युवाओं पर भरपूर भरोसा करते हुए आगे बढ़ रहा है। नई शिक्षा नीति, आईआईटी और आईआईएम का विस्तार, नये स्टार्टअप्स और यूनिकॉर्न से लेकर खेलों इंडिया केंद्र शामिल हैं। जहां युवाओं के पास अपनी भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने का पर्याप्त अवसर है। युवा शक्ति देश का आधार स्तम्भ है। इस अवसर पर इंडेक्स इंस्टीट्यूट आफ फॅार्मेसी के प्राचार्य डॅा. जावेद खान ने कहा कि मध्यप्रदेश युवा नीति कार्यक्रम के जरिए युवा अपनी नीति खुद बनाए। हमारे देश के विकास में युवाओं की भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण है। आज का युवा निश्चित रूप से राष्ट्रनीति से प्रेरित है। आज के युवा ने धर्म, जाति और भाषा के आधार पर भेद करने वाली राजनीति को दरकिनार कर दिया है। “सर्वश्रेष्ठ भारत” के सपने को पूरा करने में युवाओं की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका हो सकती है क्योंकि हमारा भारत विश्वभर में सबसे बड़ी आबादी वाला युवा देश है। यह जनसांख्यिकीय लाभांश, कार्य, भागीदारी और निर्भरता अनुपात पर इसके प्रभाव के आलोक में, हमारे देश की वृद्धि और विकास के संदर्भ में अवसर की एक आशा है, ऐसे में यह जरूरी है की युवाओं के व्यक्तित्व का विकास किया जाए और उन्हें विभिन्न राष्ट्र निर्माण गतिविधियों में शामिल किया जाए।

World Tuberculosis Day was celebrated by Index Medical College Hospital and Research Center. Every year World Tuberculosis Day is celebrated on 24 March to make people aware of TB disease.
