Youth Mahapanchayat

Index Nursing College Constituent unit of Malwanchal University organized Youth Mahapanchayat live program on 23/03/2023 Under the guidance of Dr. (Prof.) Smriti G. Solomon, Principal, Index nursing college, the program was organized by Index Nursing College. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the department should make necessary preparations to make Youth Mahapanchayat an important medium for providing benefits of various schemes related to youth. The new youth policy of the state will come out on March 23. The policy will prove to be important from the perspective for the welfare of the youth. It was informed that young participants in the age group of 17 to 35 years will gather in the Youth Mahapanchayat to be held at Motilal Nehru Stadium in Bhopal on March 23 from 1 pm to 2.30 pm. The students of B.Sc 2nd year Participated in this program.



National Conference on Contemporary Trends in Mental Health Nursing

Index nursing college affiliated to Malwanchal University organized HybredNational Conference on “Contemporary Trends in Mental Health Care” on 15/03/2023 under the guidance of Dr. Prof. Smriti G Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College and with the blessings of Shree Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman, Index Group of Institutions. Mental health outcome measures are tools that evaluate changes in mental health by capturing metrics across multiple areas of client functioning, symptoms, and treatment experiences at baseline as well as at one or more points after treatment has begun. The program was organized on 15th March 2023 and the timings were from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The first session was started with registration and pre-test from 9:00am-9:30 am given by Dr.Payal Sharma Prof. & HOD. Department of Mental Health Nursing, Index Nursing College, & Mr. Nitin Chicholkar,Assistant Professor, Index Nursing College. This was followed by inaugural ceremony. The Chief Guest was Dr. Ramachandra, former Professor and HOD of Nursing, Consultant Clinical Nursing Services NIMHANS, Bengluru. The inauguration session was started with lighting the lamp by the chief guest with the Principal and Organizing Secretary. After lamp lighting, welcome speech was delivered by Dr.Anu V. Kumar Prof & HOD of OBG department, Index Nursing College. The first educative session was given by the chief guest, Dr. Ramachandra, former Professor and HOD of Nursing Consultant Clinical Nursing Services NIMHANS, Bengluru, on “Prevailing Condition of Mental Health” from 10am-11am. The session was very effective and students understood the Prevailing Conditions of Mental Health. The second session was started at 11:00 am- 12.00 Noon and ended of The second educative session was given by Dr. Smriti G. Solomon Principal, Index Nursing College, on “Application of Health illness continuum in Mental Health Care” The session was very effective, The Third session at 12:00 pm- 01.00 Noon The third education session was given by Dr. Payal Sharma, Prof & HOD. Department of Mental Health Nursing, on “Current Mental Health Treatment Through Technology” session was very effective. The session was followed by lunch break. The Fourth session started at 02:00 pm Till 03.00 P.M The fourth education session was given by Dr. Ramgulam Razdan, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Malwanchal University. on “Prevention from Substance Abuse” in which student were educated about Prevention from Substance Abuse. The Fifth session was started at 03:00 pm- 04.00 P.M The fifth education session was given by Dr. Prof. Mohammed Mohsin Khan, HOD, Department of Mental Health Nursing, Amaltas Institute of Nursing Science, Dewas (M.P). on “Mental Heaith Care For healthier community” The session was very effective students were shown there interest in the conference. Terminating the session the post test was taken by Dr. Bidyani Devi, Prof, Index Nursing College, & Dr. Jitendra Chicholkar, Asso Prof, Index Nursing College, to assess the effectiveness of the program. The program was concluded by a valedictory session. Mr. Prof, Ankush Patrick Prof. Index Nursing College, proposed vote of thanks to all the speakers ,organizers and the delegates. The session was winded up at 5:00 pm. A total of 90 delegates attended the program. The program was a great success with the hard work of all the organizers.



Holi Celebration

Index Nursing College Constituent unit of Malwanchal University celebrated Holi on 7th March 2023, Under the guidence of Dr. (Prof.) Smriti G. Solomon, Principal, Index nursing college, the programe was organised by faculty and student nurses & student unit. Holi is a big festival of colours. Holiwas celebrated with traditional fervor and enthusiasm after a gap of two years. Everyone, including the elderly, children, and students, celebrates with zeal. They had been anticipating this program for months.. The students were provided with dry colours. There was also provision for Music System.From the beginning, everyone began to congregate on campus. All of us were in proper dresses. When the music started everyone colored in each other's faces. People enjoyed more on dance platform. They were without the sitation because they could not be recognized. It was more enjoyable with the very pleasant weather. There were many groups of young people who were making the rounds and dancing to the tune of music and throwing colours at each other. Students had a great time, and faculty members had a good time with the other faculty members as well. This is a big festival and everybody celebrated its real essence and maintained the discipline and the decorum. Holi is a big festival of colours. Everyone, including the elderly, children, and students, celebrates with zeal. They had been anticipating this program for months. There is no doubt that this festival is primarily for students, as evidenced by their enthusiasm. This festival is a lot of fun on the Index Nursing College. This year, the festival will be celebrated on the 7th March 2023. In CAMPUS there was a great arrangement for celebrating this festival of fun and frolic. There was also provision for a DJ. From the beginning, everyone began to congregate on campus. All of us were in proper dresses. The DJ started. Everyone colored in each other's faces. Somebody used cold water. People enjoyed more on dance platform. They were without hesitation because they could not be recognized. It has become more enjoyable with the very pleasant weather.
