Womens day celebration and Chirman Sir’s Birthday Celebration

Index Nursing College, a constituent unit of Malwanchal University, Indore had celebrated International Women’s Day along with birthday celebration of our beloved chairman Shri. Suresh Singh Bhadoria on 4th March 2023 under the guidance of Dr. (Prof.) Smriti G Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College. The theme of international women’s day 2023 was “DigitALL: innovation and technology for gender equality”. The observance will explore the impact of the digital gender gap on widening economic and social inequalities, and it will also spotlight the importance of protecting the rights of women and girls in digital spaces and addressing online and ICT-facilitated gender-based violence. The purpose of the day is to uphold women's achievements, recognize challenges, and focus greater attention on women's rights. The chief guest was Mrs. Shilpi Shah, Senior Vice President, Value Labs, Indore. The dignitaries who graced the occasion were Shri. Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman, Index and Amaltas Group of Institutes.
In chief guest’s motivational speech she depicted that “Is it needed to celebrate women’s day as all women are empowered and is holding dignified position in all the sectors of the society.” She also said “While the digital world offers immense opportunities, it is not immune to the persistent backslash against women’s rights and gender equality. In the digital space many women and girls are up against gender-based violence, misogynistic attacks, and digital exclusion.” After her speech a memento and gift hamper was presented to her by chairman sir and principal madam.
Our students performed a wonderful dance performance on women empowerment which was followed by cake cutting of women’s day which was followed by birthday celebration of respected chairman sir. The program was presided by Dr.Reena Thakur, Professor and HOD, Dept. of Medical Surgical Nursing and the organizing secretary was Prof. Berlin Sara Thampy, Professor & HOD, Dept. of Pediatric Nursing. The program was successfully ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr.Th. Bidyani Devi, Professor, Dept. of OBG Nursing. The programme was successfully completed with support of all teaching and non-teaching faculties.

Value Addedd Course on Developing Leadership Skills
25th, 26th, 27th February, 2023
Index nursing college affiliated to Malwanchal University organized Value Added Course on “DEVELOPING LEADERSHIP SKILLS” (COURSE CODE: INC/VAC/23/01) from 25TH, 27-28/02/2023 under the guidance of Dr. Prof. Smriti G Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College and with the blessings of Shree Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman, Index Group of Institutions. The program was organized for three days and the timings were from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The first day was started with registration and pretest from 9:00am-10am. This was followed by inaugural ceremony. The Chief Guest was Shree, N.K Tripathi, Vice-Chancellor, Malwanchal University, Indore, M.P. The inauguration session was started with lighting the lamp by the chief guest with the Principal and Organizing Secretary. After lamp lighting, welcome speech was delivered by Mr. Ankush Patrick Prof. Index Nursing College. The first educative session was given by the chief guest, Shree, N.K Tripathi Vice-Chancellor, Malwanchal University, on “Leadership Management” from 10am-11am. This was followed by a break of 15 minutes.. The session was very effective and students understood the evolution and development of leadership . The second session was started at 11:15 am till 12.00 Noon. The second educative session was given by Dr. Reena Thakur Professor and HOD Of Medical Surgical Nursing, on “Quality of Good Leader and Myths of Leadership” The session was very effective and students understood, The Third session was started at 12:00 pm- 01.00 P.M The third education session was given by Dr. Prof. Usha Ukande, RN RM Phd Editor-in-chief IJNS President Nursing Honor Society India Nursing Directore, Care Continuum, on “Leadership and Managment” session was very effective and students was educat about leadership. The Fourth session was started at 02:00 pm- 03.00 Noon The fourth education session was given by Dr. Smriti G. Solomon, Principal of Index Nursing College, on “Theores of Leadership” in which student were educated about how to increase awareness of his/her personal leadership style. The Fifth session was started from 03:00 pm till 04.00 pm The fifth educative session was given by Dr.Payal Sharma, Professor and HOD of Mental Health Nursing Department, Index Nursing College on “Approches to Leadership” The session was very effective students were show there interest. The first day session was winded up at 4:00 pm. On the second day the first session was given by Prof, Berlin Sara Thampy, professor, & HOD of Child Health Nursing, Index Nursing College, on “Team Building and Group Dynamics.” in which students were educated about how to maintain good dynamics,. The second session of the day was on “Emotional Intelligence.” and the speaker was Mr. Nitin Chicholkar, Assistant Professor, Mental Health Nursing Department Index Nursing College The session was followed by lunch break. and the third session was delivered by Dr. Anu V Kumar, Professor, HOD of OBG Department, Index Nursing College, on the topic “The internal blocks to Womens Leadership and Creating Womens Business Leaders.” The afternoon session was headed by Dr. Bidyani Devi, Professor OBG Department, Index Nursing College & Dr. Jitendra Chicholkar, Assosiate Professor, Child Health Nursing Department, Index Nursing College, took session on “Art of giving feedback Developing Creativity”. The students were educated about different feedback Developing Creativity, The second day session was winded up at 4:00 pm. On the third day, the first session was given by Mr Vishal Choudhary, Lecturer , Index Nursing College on “Motivation in Leadership.”. The second session of the day was on “Stress and Gender- Coping Mechanism” and the speaker was Dr. Ramgulam Razdaan, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Malwanchal University. Terminating the session the post test was taken to assess the effectiveness of the program. The program was concluded by a valedictory session. Mr. Ankush Patrick Prof. Index Nursing College, proposed vote of thanks to all the speakers ,organizers and the delegates. The third day session was winded up at 4:00 pm. A total of 40 delegates attended the program and the program was organized out of the routine classes.
Sports tournament at Shubhdeep College of Nursing

On February 22-26, 2023, Index Nursing College participated in Shubhdeep College's Sport event (Meet 2.0-2k23). Aside from college, many colleges participated in this event. Mr. Suresh Singh Bhadoriya, Chairman, Index Group of Institutions, and Dr. (Prof.) Smriti G. Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College, provided support for the sport event.The student were accompanied by the faculty Mr. Deepak Rajput. The sports events (Meet 2.0-2k23) organizer Mr. Dr. Mukesh Giri Goswami, Director Shubhdeep College Of Nursing, and Mr. Om Giri Goswami, Joint Director Shubhdeep College Of Nursing. Resources person Mr. Abhishek Jain, Administrator Shubhdeep College of nursing, and Mr. Shekhar Suntha Sports Incharge Shubhdeep College of Nursing, and Mr. Ritesh Kelwa Sports Incharge & Coordinator Shubhdeep College Of Nursing. On date 22 to 26, February 2023. Our students bagged 1st in kabadi competition and chess competition(girls)Event’s chief guests, Om Giri Goswami, join director of the Shubhdeep College of Nursing and Dr. Achamma Varghese, principal of the Shubhdeep College of Nursing and provided trophies to the winners.
