Index nursing college affiliated to Malwanchal University organized Savidhan Diwas (Constitution Day) program (Azadi ka amarat mahotsav). It was Shri Narendra Modi, our Prime Minister, who started the official Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on 12th March 2021, starting the journey from Sabarmati Ashram. In order to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence, he started off a 75-week-long festival. This is supposed to continue for 75 long weeks till the 75th Indian Independence Day and will extend another year to end on 15th August 2023. Index Nursing College Celebrate a Savidhan Diwas under the azadi ka amarat mahotsav on 26/11/2022 with the blessings of Mr. Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman, Index Group of Institutions. Under the guidance of Dr. Prof. Smriti G Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College. The programme was organized by Index Nursing College in the B.Sc. nursing 2nd year class room. The programme was organized for one day, and the timing was from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The programme was started by the warm welcome of Dr. Prof. Smriti G. Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College, by Mr. Prabhanshu Vyas, and the programme further preceded Principal Madam, who encouraged the students about the easy competition and told them about National Law Day and the beauty of the Constitution. After the principal's madam speech, 60 students participated in an easy competition about Savidhan Diwas. The program main aim of constitution day is to create awareness about the constitution among the citizen of India and to propagate constitution value. Program coordinator guided students on Savidhan Diwas about the sovereignty, socialism, secularism, equality, human dignity and the unity.
Nukad Natak (Gender Sensitization)

Index Nursing College constituent unit of Malwanchal University, Indore organized a nukkad natak program at Karnawad rural area on 24th November 2022, B.Sc Nursing 2nd year students were the candidates for the performance and visit. The field visit was organized under the support of Mr. Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman, Index Group of Institutes and with the guidance of Dr.(Prof.) Smriti G Solomon, Principal,Index Nursing College The faculties accompanied with the students were Prof. Naveen Kumar Jaiswal. Community Health Nursing,, Mr. Deepak Rajput,Ms. Pooja chandani . Nukkad Natak was organized on the topic ‘gender sensitization’. Progamme was organized to spread awareness among people of community area regarding awareness and encouragement of behavior modification through raising awareness of gender equality concerns. The goal of gender sensitization is to address issues in gender equality and encourage participants to pursue solutions. B.Sc Nursing 2nd year students performed nukkad natak after gathering the people. We reached the karnawad at 10:30 am. B.Sc Nursing 2nd year students gathered the people of respective area to witness and participate in street play organized for their awareness regarding the ‘gender sensitization’. Nukkad natak was started at 12:00 pm, With minimal props, songs and a few dance steps, the 40-minute presentation. 20 students participated in nukkad natak and about 40-50 people were gathered to witness and take participate in informative play.
Garba Competition

Navratri is a Hindu festival celebrated and it is observed for various reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Indian subcontinent. On this occasion with great verve and vigour Garba and Dandiya was celebrated in the college on 30/09/ 2022.The celebration started by offering prayers to Goddess Navdurga and then by performing the traditional dance form Garba. All the Students, Faculty and Staff Members were invited to attend the event. The event was well attended by all the enthusiastic students, faculty and staff members in traditional grooming. All of them celebrated the day with joy and cheer. It was a colorful event with teachers joining the students enthusiastically in their dance. The event became an excellent example of celebration of tradition with joy and fervour at its fullest. On this occasion, Index Nursing College organized Garba and Dandiya to celebrate Navratri on 30/09/ 2022 between 10am to 04.00 pm which was coordinated by cultural coordinators. The celebration started by offering prayers to Goddess Navdurga and then by performing Garba and Dandiya Raas. There were various performances of the students like solo garba dance and traditional folk dance. Principal Dr.(Prof.) Smriti G. Solomon mam provided unconditional support and motivated students to carry out this event in the right spirit. This program was coordinated by Dr. Anu V. Kumar and Mr. Nitin Chichiolkar (Event Co-ordinators).
