The camp was organised at Govt. High School, Bicholi Hapsi, Indore, where International Literacy Day was celebrated. A skit was performed by the interns of Index Institute of Dental Sciences, Indore, bearing the message "Beti Bacho, Beti padao". The event was organised by Dr.Poonam Tomar Rana and supported by Dr.Ranjan Mani Tripathi, Dr.Pankaj Choudhary and Dr.Manish Gupta.

A screening camp was organised by department of Public Health Dentistry, Index Institute of Dental Sciences, Indore under the supervision of Dr.Poonam Tomar Rana and Dr.Rashmi Rai in collaboration with Rotary Club, Indore Grande on the occasion of National Oral Hygiene Day at Government Middle and High School, Vinobhanagar, Indore. Approximately 220 students were screened by the team of interns and doctors. Oral hygiene kits were distributed among the school children. The children with good oral hygiene were also awarded with gifts.

Index Institute of Dental Sciences (IIDS), Malwanchal University, Indore organized a tree plantation programme at Central Jail, Indore under the supervision of Dr. Poonam Tomar Rana and Dr. Deepti Singh Hada. It was supported by Jail Suprtendent Shri Santosh Solanki, Jailer Shri Kulshreshth, Shri Raghuwanshi and other jail staff members.
The Chief Guest for the programme was Mr. Ranjeet Singh Bhati (Retired Jail Superintendent).
Mr. R.S. Ranawat, Director Planning and Administration, Mr. R.C. Yadav, Additional Director, Administration and Student Welfare, Malwanchal University, Dr. Rolly Agarwal and Dr. Rashmi Rai of Index Institute of Dental Sciences were supported the cause in person.
IIDS also provided tree guards to Central Jail for the plants.
