A camp was organized at Nepaniya near super market as homage to Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, Former Prime Minister of India.
The motive of this camp was to provide dental hygiene literacy and to teach people how to maintain the same by using brushing materials and other hygiene maintaining substances efficiently. People were provided with knowledge about good oral health as "Oral Health is the Gateway to General Health" and they were made aware about general sanitation maintenance.
Teaching faculty, Dr Ranjan Mani Tripathi, Dr Bhuvnesh Airen and Dr Rashmi Rai along with a team of interns and paramedic staff helped to make this event successful and made sure that people passing by attended this camp. They gave knowledge to people about proper dental hygiene products and the right techniques of using these products.

On the occasion of World Hepatitis Day (28th July,2018), Index Institute of Dental Sciences conducted a CDE program on "Hepatitis precautions and importance in Clinical Practice".
The guest speakers, Dr. Bushra Khanam and Dr. Arun Saxena addressed the gathering on "Universal Precautions for Hepatitis" and "Blood Donation myths and facts" respectively on 28th July, 2018.
Approximately 200 people including the doctors, interns, students and non-teaching staff were vaccinated against Hepatitis-B on 28th July, 2018(Saturday) and 30th July, 2018(Monday).
