In Malwanchal University the students of Index Institute of Dental Sciences presented before the Vice Chancellor, N K Tripathi a street play on Periodontist Day (Gum Health Day). The play explained the ways for the up keep of oral hygiene. Earlier this play was exhibited at Rajwada in the heart of Indore city. The Vice Chancellor and the Registrar Dr M Christopher and Dr. Satish Karandikar distributed the certificates for various competitions held on this occasion.

इंदौर गौरव दिवस के रक्तदान शिविर में इंडेक्स समूह की टीम ने निभाई जिम्मेदारी

इंदौर में विभिन्न संगठनो के साथ मिलकर शिविर में इंडेक्स अस्पताल के डॅाक्टरों ने दी अपनी सेवाएं

इंदौर गौरव दिवस के अविस्मरणीय बनाने के लिए इंदौर प्रशासन और नागरिकों की ओर से रक्तदान शिविर में व्यापक सहभागिता गई है। आम नागरिक ही नहीं बल्कि अधिकारी और व्यापारियों ने ही रक्तदान के इस महादान की पहल में अपना सहयोग दिया है। इंदौर प्रशासन,इंडियन रेडक्रॅास सोसायटी और इंडेक्स मेडिकल कॅालेज हॅास्पिटल एंड रिसर्च सेंटर की टीम ने रक्तदान के इस महाअभियान में सहयोगी की भूमिका निभाई है। इंडेक्स समूह के चेयरमैन सुरेशसिंह भदौरिया,वाइस चेयरमैन मयंकराज सिंह भदौरिया,इंडेक्स पैथोलॅाजी विभागाध्यक्ष डॅा.संजीव नारंग के मार्गदर्शन में इंडेक्स समूह के डॅाक्टरों की टीम ने अपनी सेवाएं इस रक्तदान शिविर में दी। इंडेक्स अस्पताल के डॅाक्टरों द्वारा इंदौर में विभिन्न स्थानों पर व्यापारिक संगठन और जिला प्रशासन के साथ मिलकर अपनी सेवाएं दी। इंडेक्स के डॅाक्टरों की टीम के साथ जिला प्रशासन के अधिकारियों की टीम ने सुबह से ही विभिन्न रक्तदान शिविर पर जिम्मेदारी संभाल ली थी। सभी टीमों ने इंदौर गौरव दिवस के इस रक्तदान शिविर को सफलता पूर्वक संपन्न किया। इसमें बड़ी संख्या में महिलाओं के साथ युवाओं ने भी इंदौर गौरव के इस रक्तदान शिविर में बड़ी संख्या में हिस्सा लिया। अहिल्या चेंबर आफ कॅामर्स,लोहामंडी एसोसिएशन,सियागंज किराना ब्रोकर्स एंड मर्चेंट एसोसिएशन के शिविर में 115 लोगों ने रक्तदान किया। क्लॅाथ मार्केट एसोसिएशन के शिविर में 69,उत्साह रेस्टोरेंट एवं मानवता की पहचान संस्था के 65 और तीनों शिविर में 248 से अधिक लोगों ने रक्तदान किया।

Prosthodontic day is an initiative by the Indian Prosthodontic Society to create awareness and promote the speciality among the general public and professional colleagues. Prosthodontist Dayis celebrated on 22ndJanuary.Department of Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge of Index Institute of Dental Sciences, Malwanchal University, Indore celebrated World Prosthodontist Day as a week-long programme from 22nd-27th January 2023 under the guidance of Honourable Chairman, Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria.

Under the umbrella of this peculiar day, a series of events were organized from 22nd- 27th Jan 2023. During the celebration, free dentures were placed over a span of one week and free denture boxes were distributed to denture wearers, lectures were conducted to educatepatients regarding post insertion care of complete dentures and oral soft tissues. Patients were also educated regarding denture hygiene maintenance and made aware regarding various treatment options by playing educational videos.

E-poster, Reel and meme making competition was conducted by the department for the undergraduate and postgraduate students on the topic ‘Prosthodontics’. Prize distribution ceremony was organized on 25th January 2023. All the heads of department and faculty members showed their valuable presence. This programme was successfully organized by Dr. Rajeev Srivastava, Professor and Head, Department of Prosthodontics, faculty members and post graduate students of the department and master of ceremony was Dr. Raveena Makker (Reader, Department of Prosthodontics). Students, faculty and other staff members of IIDS were also present to make the event a great success.
