The dept of kriya sharer provides in depth education of normal physiology of human body with ancient and modern viewpoints with well equipped lab and sufficient training.
All the texts are in Sanskritin ayurved and proficiency is attained in this MAULIK SIDDHANT DEPT.In depth knowledge of basic texts of ayurveda, ayurvedic epidemiology and basic principles of ayurveda is deal by this dept.

DEPARTMENT OF RACHANA SHARIR (ANATOMY)
Welcome to the Department of Rachana Sharir (Anatomy) at Index Ayurvedic College Hospital & Research Centre, a key pillar in Ayurvedic education. This department lays a strong foundation by integrating classical Ayurvedic concepts of Sharir with modern anatomical science, helping students understand the human body’s structure and function.
Along with academics, the department promotes research that bridges Ayurveda and modern anatomy, fostering innovation and deeper knowledge.
By developing strong fundamentals in Rachna Sharir and Anatomy, we prepare future Ayurvedic professionals with essential skills for accurate diagnosis and effective patient care.

DEPARTMENT OF KRIYA SHARIR (PHYSIOLOGY)
Welcome to the Department of Kriya Sharir at Index Ayurvedic College Hospital & Research Centre, where we focus on the study of body functions from both Ayurvedic and modern perspectives. Kriya Sharir forms the backbone of understanding normal physiology, Dosha-Dhatu-Mala balance, and the principles that govern life and health as described in Ayurvedic classics. These basic principles serve as the foundation for Nidan (diagnosis) and Chikitsa (treatment), helping students develop into skilled and successful physicians.
Our department provides a perfect blend of traditional concepts from Samhita’s with modern physiological science. We emphasize practical understanding through well-equipped laboratories, advanced instruments, charts, and interactive demonstrations, enabling students to learn body mechanisms such as circulation, respiration, digestion, and nervous system functions. The laboratory is equipped with all required equipments as per NCISM 2024 MESAR like trinocular microscope, sufficient to conduct practicals for 100 students effectively.
In addition to classroom learning, students are encouraged to engage in research and experiments that explore the correlation between classical Ayurvedic theories and modern physiological principles.

DEPARTMENT OF SAMHITA & SIDDHANTA
The Department of Samhita and Siddhanta at Index Ayurvedic College Hospital & Research Centre lays the foundation of Ayurvedic education through the study of all classical texts like CharakaSamhita, SushrutaSamhita, and Ashtanga Hridaya. Students learn the core principles, philosophy, and fundamental concepts of Ayurveda in their original Sanskrit form.
Our department features a well-equipped Language Lab that helps students understand Sanskrit terminology and pronunciation, making the study of classical texts easier and more accurate. Teaching integrates traditional knowledge with modern science, encouraging research that bridges ancient theories with present-day healthcare. In addition, a digital library is also helpful inbetter understanding and enhances the learning experience.
With this strong base, we prepare students to apply authentic Ayurvedic principles in modern clinical practice for holistic well-being.

Lecture Hall:
