International Woman’s Day Celebration 2022

Index Nursing College, affiliated to Malwanchal University organized international l woman’s Day programme on theme “gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow “on 8th March 2022 and the Chief Guest of the programme was Mrs. Sapna Anurag Jain, Add Collector & Deputy Transport incharge, Indore. The programme was conducted with the support of Mr. Suresh Singh Bhadoria , Chairman, Index and Amaltas Group of Institution and under the guidance and motivation of Dr. (Prof.)Smriti G.Solomon ,Principal ,Index Nursing College. International Womans day is celebrated on 8th of march every year to commememorte the cultural, political , intellectual and socioeconomic achievements of woman. The aim of the day is to spread the message of gender equality and promotabetter society where there is no gender bias . This year’s campaign is represented by the # break the bias has tag and calls on people to work towards a world that is equitable , inclusive and free from bias and discrimination so the playing field is leveled for woman moving forward . The chief guest addressed the student on this occasion and explained how woman is equally Important as men and they should work for themselves and prove themselves .Both the men and woman should share the responsibilities equally in all areas. Mr. R.S. Ranawat, Director planning and administration also addressed the students and explained “since ancient times women is an integral part of the society and still they are valued equally with men. He said that in all fields there should be 50% reservation for female candidate” On this day various competition and held in the colleg4e namely skit competition, slogan Competition, poster competition and poem competition and the prizes were distributed to the student by the chief guest. Momento was presented to the chief guest by the principal Dr. S.G.Solomon and other dignitaries.The master of ceremony was Dr.AnuV.Kumar, H.O.D. OBS and GYN. Dept. The Programme was ended up with vote of thanks given by Dr.Payal Sharma, H.O.D, Mental Health Nursing department.

Fresher’s Party 2022
12th March, 2022
Students of First Year (batch:2021-22) GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, students were welcomed with the red rose to this party which was organized by B.Sc And GNM 2nd year Student’s in the Multi-purpose hall at 11AM. The celebration started at sharp 11am at the (Multi-purpose hall) by our anchors Mr. Pravu Rudrashish Mohanty,Students of BSc Nursing 2ndyear with the warm welcome of all the dignitaries and the jury present in the function. This was followed by the Saraswati pooja and lamp lightening by the Dignitaries. Followed by this the welcome speech was given by Abhishek Chouhan , Students of BSc Nursing 2nd year and the fresher were formally welcomed into the Index Nursing Family, the jury and other guests of honors were also introduced.The program started with lamp lightening and speech by Dr. Prof. S. G. Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College, Indore. And floral welcome of Principal was done by Muskan Vishwakarma , student of B.Sc. nursing 2nd year. Senior students arranged many activities for fresher’s which include cultural events where everyone got chance to showcase their talent. Refreshments were served in between the program. Freshers along with their seniors got chance to showcase their talent by a stunning Ramp walk, various Dance performances like solo, Duo, Group dances. Later small games were organized to make the function more tricky and fun! Talking about the ramp walk, it was conducted in two rounds. In the Round 1- the participants walked on the ramp and gave poses towards the audiences. The audiences enjoyed the fashion show and they encouraged the participants by making hooding sounds. Later in the Round 2- the shortlisted participants walked again on the ramp and they were asked to stand in the line followed by the questioning session based on which the Mr. and Ms. Freshers were finalized. There was a tough competition among the freshers as they all were amazing. Mr. Deepak Dangi & Miss. Pooja Mujalde were chosen as the Mr. and Miss Fresher, respectively. Mr. Mohit Pathak and Miss. Muskan Chouhan were awarded as the Best Dressed students. This program was coordinated by Dr. Anu V. Kumar and Mr. Nitin Chichiolkar (Event Co-ordinators).

Live broadcast of pariksha pe charcha

As per the UGC guidelines, Index Nursing College have arranged the programme on the live broadcast of “Pariksha Pe Charcha”. The venew for the program was B.Sc 3rd year classroom. The honorable Prime Minister addressed students across the country in the 5th edition of pariksha Pe Charcha today, he intracted with various students from different schools and colleges. He enlighten the students with the various new technologies in the advancement of the education system and threw light on new educational policy. The program was organized by Mr. Nitin Chicholkar, Assisstant Professor, Index Nursing College.
