Lamp Lighting & oath Taking Ceremony

Index Nursing College, a constituent unit of Malwanchal University organized “Lamp lighting and Oath taking ceremony” of B.Sc. Nursing and GNM students of Index Nursing College on 24th March 2022 and the Chief Guest was Dr. Bharat Singh, President, Private University, Bhopal and Dr. Subani Bara, Principal, Mahadevi Birla Institute of Nursing and Clinical Technology, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India was guest of honor. The Lamp lighting and Oath taking ceremony was conducted with the support of Mr. Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman, Index and Amaltas Group of Institutes and under the guidance and motivation of Dr. (Prof.) Smriti G. Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College. The Programme organizer Mr. Jitendra Chicholkar, Assistant Professor Index Nursing College.
The ceremony was started at 2:00 pm with the introduction speech by Dr. Anu V Kumar, HOD and Profesor of Index Nursing College. The ceremony was started with saraswati vandana dance performed by Ms. Chandani Khan & Group followed by deep prajawalan by all the dignitaries. Dr. Payal Sharma and Prof. Bidyani Devi, Prof. Index Nursing College gave welcome address. Dr. Reena Thakur, Professor, Index Nursing College told about “Significance of Lamp Lighting”.
Our Principal Dr. Prof. S.G. Solomon undertook the lamp lighting ceremony and oath taking ceremony with Prof. Naveen Jaiswal, Prof. Ankush Patrick, Mr. Prabhanshu Vyas, Mr. Jitendra Chicholkar, Mr Nitin Chicholkar, Mr, Vishal Choudhary, Mr Vinay Prajapat, Mr Deepak Singh Rajput Ms.Shivani Bhadouria, Ms Twinkle Parik, Ms Surbhi Shukla, Ms Kirti Pawar, Ms Vaishali Verma, Ms Pooja Rathore, Ms Roshni Dabi and Ms Roshni Vasure. Principal Madam recited oath and students followed. On focusing on the academic and extracurricular achievements of our institute, Dr. Prof. S.G. Solomon, Principal Index Nursing College gave Presidential address. Our Chief Guest Dr. Bharat Singh, President Private University Bhopal, congratulated, encouraged and motivated our budding nurse with his knowledge and insight. Dr. Subani Bara, Principal, Mahadevi Birla Institute of Nursing and Clinical Technology, Ranchi, Jharkhand, addressed that nurse student should acquire knowledge and skill through class room learning and clinical practice. She stressed on qualities of nurses which makes the patient to feel better. She highlighted the journey of Florence nightingale. She encouraged students to take part in direct patient care. The guest of honour stressed on the nursing service and role of nurse in patient care in health care settings.
Prof. Bidyani Devi, Index Nursing College acknowledged the efforts of student’s in curricular and extracurricular activities by awarding all the winners by medals, trophies and certificates from guest dignitaries. The event was ended with the Vote of thanks expressed Mr Ankush Patrick, Professor, Index Nursing College. Lastly all stood for National Anthem.
