FRESHER’S AND FAREWELL PARTY 2021

Garden of Index Nursing College echoed with the blessings in the morning of 1st February 2021 when Index Nursing College family came together to welcome the new buds of college i.e. B.Sc. Nursing I year & GNM I year students and to bid farewell to the outgoing 2019-2020 batch of B.Sc. Nursing IV year & GNM III year students. The programme was organized under the guidance of Dr. (Prof.) Smriti G. Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College, by faculty, students and Student Nurses Association unit. The programme was started at 11:00 am at Index Nursing College garden with the anchoring of Mr. Aakash Patel & Ms. Reet Lodwal B.Sc. Nursing II year students and Mr. Nagesh Kukeshwar & Ms. Reena Bharti B.Sc. Nursing IV year students with the warm welcome of all the dignitaries, special guest, Principal teaching & non teaching faculty and all the outgoing students and freshers of Index Nursing College. Under the morning sunshine the lamp was lighted by Mr. Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman, Index & Amaltas group of Institutes, Dr. G.S. Patel, Dean, Index Medical College, Dr. (Prof.) Smriti G. Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College, Mrs. Chitra Khidwar. Deputy Director, Mr. R.C. Yadav, Additional Director Student Welfare and faculty. The event began with the blessing words from Dr. (Prof.) Smriti G. Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College. It was the morning of mixed emotions for all present at the college garden to witness the official welcome and send-off of the students at the fresher’s and farewell party 2021. The morning was beautiful, the sun shining brightly as the batch 2019-2020 B.Sc. Nursing I year, GNM I year, B.Sc. Nursing IV year & GNM III year students showed up, dressed in their finery. The young ladies glowed in fuschia, black and red coloured saris whereas gentlemen carried themselves smartly in formal suits.
Fresher’s party was started with the blessing words by Dr. (Prof.) Smriti G. Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College and followed by welcome speech by Akansha Pathak B.Sc. Nursing II year. Floral welcome of dignitaries and faculty were done by students of all batches. Students performed many activities like welcome dance, solo dance, group dance, comedy dance, solo song, ramp walk and game etc. After ramp walk and fun game B.Sc. Nsg. I year students were given gifts as token of memory. Ms. & Mr. Fresher were crowned and congratulated. It was followed by lunch of all dignitaries, guest and faculties. After delightful lunch farewell programme was started with a role play by students followed by group dance, poetry, comedy dance etc. Outgoing students were on the ramp and crowned and congratulated Ms. & Mr. Farewell. For the farewell the day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with teachers and friends to reminisce joyous moments expressing their memories. Everyone took the opportunity to get them clicked. The event was ended with the vote of thanks by Ms. Muskan, B.Sc. Nursing II year student.
CULTURAL FEST 2021

Colorful and memorable cultural fest was organized on 29th January 2021 under the guidance of Dr. (Prof.) Smriti G. Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College along with faculty, students and Students Nurses Association unit at Index Medical College Auditorium. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria, Vice-Chairman, Index and Amaltas group of Institutes, Dr. (Prof.) Smriti G. Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College, Mr. R.C. Yadav, Additional director and Student welfare, Mrs. Chitra K. Additional director and administrator, A.K. Janha, Incharge of research laboratory, Index Medical College. Floral welcome was done followed by lighting the lamp by special guests and faculties of Index Nursing College. The fest was started at 11 am with melodious welcome dance. The events of cultural fest are Rangoli, Mehandi, best out of waste, role play, poetry, song, dance and fancy dress competitions. All the students were categorized into 4 houses i.e. Silverswords, Warhawks, Conqueror and Titans. Each event was judged and scored by the special guests and faculties of Index Nursing College. First, second and third prizes were given to students with the certificates as token of appreciation and motivation.
Winning houses were Silverswords and Warhawks. Best performer was Ms. Shivani Shinde, B.Sc. Nursing IV year whereas all round performer was Mr. Ankit Boriya, B.Sc. Nursing III year. The colorful cultural fest 2021 was ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Garvesh Yadav, B.Sc Nursing II year.

SPORTS WEEK ‘INFINITO 2021’
25th January, 2021 to 30th January, 2021
Sports week ‘Infinito 2021’ was organized from 25th January 2021 to 30th January 2021 at Index Medical College Ground with great zeal and enthusiasm under the guidance of Dr. (Prof.) Smriti G. Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College, faculty, students. The event was inaugurated by chief guest Mr. Tulsiram Silawat, Cabinet Minister, M.P Government and other dignitaries Mr. Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman, Index and Amaltas Group of Institutes, Dr. (Prof.) Smriti G. Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College, Mr. R.C. Yadav, Additional director student welfare, Index Medical College. Lighting the lamp by special guests, other dignitaries & faculties of Index Nursing College was followed by Floral welcome was done. Students were divided into 4 houses under the captainship of faculties. Indoor and outdoor competitions were organized like cricket, kabadi, kho-kho, badminton, chess & caroms. Winners of Infinito 2021 were silverswords & Warharks. The winners were awarded with prizes in lamp lighting ceremony.
