On World Health Awareness Day, Index Nursing College and Malwanchal University organized a Hybrid National Conference at the Index Medical College auditorium, bringing together healthcare professionals and students from across India. This enlightening event was held under the joint collaboration of Index Nursing College and Bombay Hospital College of Nursing. With notable speakers from Madhya Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Chhattisgarh, the conference highlighted the importance of maintaining a balanced routine for better health. The central theme of the conference, "Better Health through Better Routine," emphasized the alarming rise in health issues like heart attacks and chronic diseases, which are often linked to deteriorating routines. Dr. A.K. Jain elaborated on the significance of regular sleep patterns, proper nutrition, and seasonal diets to maintain good health. He pointed out that while doctors treat illnesses, it is our natural rhythms and routines that help us stay healthy. Dr. Sanjeev Narang echoed this thought, stressing that the traditional knowledge of food and routines, rooted in our culture, can safeguard our health in today's fast-paced world.

In addition to the informative sessions, students from Bombay Hospital Nursing College demonstrated yoga poses to underscore the importance of physical activity in daily routines. Dr. Smriti Ji Solomon emphasized the need for a positive mindset, as mental stress can lead to physical ailments. Other discussions focused on emotional intelligence, health insurance, hydration, and nutrition. The conference served as an invaluable platform for students to learn and integrate better health practices into their routines, reinforcing the importance of adopting healthier lifestyles to prevent long-term health problems.
