On April 5, 2024, Index Nursing College, a constituent of Malwanchal University, hosted a vibrant Skit Competition focused on "Cyberbullying Awareness" as part of the annual event, Anuroop 2024. Held at the Index Cricket Ground, the event began at 7:00 pm, in the presence of esteemed leaders: Mr. Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman, Index and Amaltas Group of Institutions, Mrs. Gauri Singh Bhadoria, Chancellor of Malwanchal University, and under the guidance of Dr. Smriti G. Solomon, Principal of Index Nursing College.
The evening kicked off with a lamp-lighting ceremony led by Mr. Bhadoria, Shri Lokeshver Singh Jodhana, and other university authorities, followed by an inspiring welcome speech by the host, Ms. Priyanka. The cultural showcase included singing, dancing, a fashion show, and the highly anticipated skit competition, judged by Shri Shyam Agrawal, Principal of Mount Index International School. Coordinated by Dr. Th. Bidyani Devi and Mr. Nitin Chicholkar, the event embraced a spirit of enthusiasm and teamwork.
In the skit competition, Ravi Kumar and his team from Index Nursing College clinched the Best Performance award. The singing competition saw Ms. Ishika Saraswal take the winning trophy, while Mr. Tanishq Agrawat was named Mr. Anuroop in the fashion show. The dance performances added further vibrance, with Ms. Saloni Chouhan winning in the solo category and Ms. Priyanka Rani and Ms. Aachal Kadole winning the duet trophy.
The grand celebration concluded with an award ceremony honoring winners and judges, reflecting the college’s commitment to fostering holistic student development through intercollege events.
Malwanchal University celebrated its Graduation Ceremony on April 5, 2024, honoring graduates from the Master of Science in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing), and Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (PBBSc Nursing) programs. Dr. Smriti G. Solomon, Principal of Index Nursing College, opened the ceremony with a warm welcome speech, setting a celebratory tone for the day.

Index Nursing College, affiliated with Malwanchal University, successfully organized the highly anticipated sports event “ANUROOP 2024” on April 3rd and 4th, 2024. The event featured a variety of sports, including Kabaddi, Badminton, Basketball, and Cricket, and was held at the Mount Index Basketball Court and the college playground. The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Smriti G. Solomon, Principal of Index Nursing College, who inaugurated the sports with an inspiring address emphasizing the importance of sports in students’ lives.
**Kabaddi**
The Kabaddi competition kicked off with five boys' teams and two girls' teams participating. Matches were decided through a chit system. On April 3rd, the first match saw Paramedical College securing a victory over Dental College, with key performances from Captain Mohit and Raider Bhupendra. Nursing College triumphed over Medical College in a one-sided victory, advancing to the finals. The boys’ final on April 4th saw Nursing College clinch victory over Paramedical College by three points, while the girls' final saw Nursing College emerge victorious against Pharmacy College.
**Badminton**
Badminton matches began on April 1st with singles competitions, where Dental College claimed both titles. On April 2nd, Nursing College's boys' doubles team won against PGs, while the girls’ team lost to Dental College. Both Nursing College teams lost in doubles matches to Paramedical and Medical Colleges. Mixed doubles on April 4th ended in defeats to Medical and Dental Colleges. Dr. Smriti G. Solomon presented trophies to the winners.
**Basketball**
On April 2nd, Dental College defeated Nursing College in the first match of the Basketball tournament, while Paramedical College triumphed over Nursing College in the second match. Dr. Smriti G. Solomon congratulated the winners.
**Cricket**
The Inter-college Cricket Tournament (ANUROOP 2024) saw fierce competition with six teams participating. Index Nursing College emerged victorious in both boys' and girls' categories. The boys’ final saw Index Nursing College defeating Physiotherapy College, while the girls’ final ended with a win for Medical College. Dr. Smriti G. Solomon presented the trophies, along with other awards such as "Man of the Match" and "Man of the Series."
The event concluded with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship, celebrating the spirit of competition and camaraderie among students.
