ANUROOP 2025, the annual flagship event organized under the esteemed banner of Malwanchal University, was a vibrant celebration of talent, teamwork, and holistic development. Hosted with great enthusiasm, the festival brought together students from across the university to participate in a wide array of competitive sports and cultural programs. Among the standout participants were the students of Index Homeopathic College, Hospital and Research Center, who delivered remarkable performances that reflected dedication, discipline, and an unwavering spirit of excellence. This grand event not only provided a platform for students to showcase their abilities but also fostered a deep sense of unity, sportsmanship, and institutional pride.
In the sports category, students from the college displayed outstanding prowess, particularly in badminton. Ms. Fiza Shaikh secured the championship title in the girls’ singles event, while also earning the runners-up position in girls’ doubles alongside Ms. Niharika Singh. Additionally, Ms. Shaikh teamed up with Mr. Devendra Jaiswal to clinch the runner-up spot in the mixed doubles event, with Mr. Jaiswal also emerged as the runner-up in the boys’ singles category. These accomplishments were made possible under the expert mentorship of National Badminton Coach Dr. Amit Belekar, whose strategic guidance and encouragement played a pivotal role. The college’s cricket team, comprising 15 dedicated players, also performed commendably under the supervision of coaches Dr. Rohit Yadav and Dr. Dinesh Kumar Goyal. Similarly, the Kabaddi team, guided by Dr. Jaiprakash Dhurve, and the girls’ basketball team, mentored by Dr. Jyoti Sharma, Dr. Niranjan Joshi, and Dr. Shubhangi Tiwari, delivered strong, competitive performances.
The cultural events witnessed equally impressive participation, highlighting the creative and artistic side of the students. From soulful singing and graceful dance performances to vibrant fashion shows, students excelled under the mentorship of faculty members including Dr. Swati Manekar, Dr. Meenakshi Patel, Dr. Mayuri Tamrakar (singing and fashion), and Dr. Amarjit Kaur, Dr. Upasana Kadam, and Dr. Arpana Dixit (dance). Special recognition was also given to exemplary staff contributions. Dr. Ganesh Vishwakarma (Associate Professor) was honored with the ‘Best Employee of the Year’ award, along with non-teaching staff members Mr. Sushil Kumar Singh (Office Superintendent) and Mr. Jisan Mansuri (Computer Operator – Hospital Staff). Principal Dr. C.L. Yadav congratulated all students, faculty, and staff for their exceptional efforts and extended best wishes for their continued growth and success in future endeavors.
Index Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital & Research Center, Indore, joyously celebrated World Homoeopathy Day on 10th April 2025, marking the 270th birth anniversary of Dr. Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, the revered founder of Homoeopathy. The program commenced at 12:00 PM with traditional rituals including the garlanding and lamp lighting ceremony in honor of Goddess Saraswati and Dr. Hahnemann. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Hon’ble Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria Ji (Chairman, Index Group of Institutions), Vice Chairman Hon’ble Shri Mayank Raj Singh Bhadoria Ji, and Shri R.S. Ranawat Ji (Director, Index Hospital), among other distinguished guests and academic heads from various institutions under the Index Group.
The celebration featured a vibrant array of cultural performances by BHMS 1st Year students, guided by faculty members, showcasing the rich heritage and dedication of the young future homoeopaths. Dr. Jyoti Sharma anchored the event with warmth and elegance, maintaining the enthusiasm throughout the program. The Chief Guest and Vice Chairman addressed the gathering with motivational speeches, emphasizing the relevance of Homoeopathy in today’s healthcare system. Dr. C.L. Yadav, Principal of the Homoeopathic College, delivered a comprehensive speech on the life and contributions of Dr. Hahnemann, the ethical responsibilities of Homoeopaths, and the evolving scope of Homoeopathy in modern medicine.
The event concluded with an Oath Ceremony, where students and faculty pledged to uphold the teachings and principles of Dr. Hahnemann in their practice. On 22nd May 2025, Index Homoeopathic College, Hospital & Research Centre, under the esteemed aegis of Malwanchal University, successfully conducted a One-Day Workshop and Continuing Medical Education (CME) program centered on the theme of "Advancing Research in Homoeopathic Sciences." Organized under the visionary supervision of the Hon’ble Chairman Sir and Vice Chairman Sir, the event aimed to elevate research competencies and foster a spirit of scientific inquiry among faculty and students. A highlight of the day was the dynamic and thought-provoking lecture delivered by Dr. Lily Ganju, Director – Research & Development, who shared deep insights on research methodologies and innovations in homoeopathy.
