The Annual Sports Fiesta of Index Institute of Dental Sciences “Athena-2019” was inaugurated on 05th December 2019 on the basketball court of Index Institute of Dental Sciences (IIDS). The Inaugural Ceremony was graced by the presence of respected Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria (Chairman, Mayank Welfare Society [MWS]), Shri R.S. Ranawat (Director, Planning and Administration, MWS), Shri R.C. Yadav (Additional Director, Administration and Student Welfare, MWS).

The programme was planned and organized by the enthusiastic students and interns of Index Institute of Dental Sciences under the able guidance of Dr.Pranav Parashar, Incharge, Sports Committee, Athena-2019. The beginning of the Sports Meet was marked with the presentation of floral bouquets to all the dignitaries. The torch was lit by Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria and Shri R.S. Ranawat.

Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria (Chairman, MWS) inspired the participants with his speech. Dr.Rolly S. Agarwal (Vice-Dean, IIDS) encouraged the participants with her motivating words. The Inaugural Ceremony was concluded with the Indian National Anthem. The programme was anchored by Ms. Devyani Allen, Intern, IIDS who also gave the Vote of Thanks.

02^nd December, 2019

The awareness event was conducted by the Department of Public Health Dentistry by Dr.Rajan Mani Tripathi, Dr. Poonam Tomar Rana and Dr.Bhuvnesh Airen. The event was organized with the motive of spreading awareness about the deadly disease amongst bus drivers and conductors so that they may be made ware about its causes, consequences and prevention. A health talk was delivered by the interns of Index Institute of Dental Sciences.The programme was attended by various dignitaries of the college namely Dr.Satish Karandikar (Dean, IIDS), Dr.Rolly Agrawal (Vice Dean), Mr.R.C.Yadav (Additional Director, Administration and Student Welfare).
